Les has been in practice in Ross since 1986, and in his own practice since 1992, having trained and qualified with KPMG in their Chepstow office.

Les has many years experience dealing with individual and owner managed businesses, and advises on most aspects of accounts, taxation, business management and pension schemes.

Les's hands-on experience in his family business - Hale & Co (Drybrook) - also leads to a valuable understanding of all business issues.

Sara has worked with Les since 1993, having previously trained with Coopers & Lybrand (now part of Pricewaterhousecoopers) in Gloucester, in their business services department dealing with accounts and audit for a variety of enterprises.

Sara deals with a variety of individuals and businesses in all areas of accounts, tax and audit, as well as assisting with the preparation of management accounts at client premises. She also specialises in charity accounts and audits.

Paula has been with Sara and Les since 1999. Paula also trained with Coopers & Lybrand (previously Deloitte Haskins & Sells) in their Cardiff office before moving to a Hereford practice. Paula was a manager in the Corporate Tax Department in Cardiff and continued to assist sole-traders, partnerships and owner managed businesses with their taxation affairs when she moved to Hereford.

Paula continues in this role at Hale Jackson Knight as well as dealing with accounts for a variety of clients.

As well as assisting with accounts preparation and audits, Rhona Hoskins also oversees the payroll and VAT functions that we undertake for our clients.
